Norway is a wonderful option if you want to work in another country. The country’s economy remains stable and offers numerous job opportunities.
You must have a work permit or a residency permit in order to work in Norway. To do so, you must first obtain employment in Norway. Before you begin working in Norway, you must first obtain your residence permit. The EU Blue Card scheme does not apply to the country.
You will require a residence permit if you are not from the EU or EEA. If you are a skilled worker, things are a lot easier. Skilled employees will be issued resident permits that will allow them to stay in Norway permanently. To get the title of skilled worker, you must meet the following criteria:
You must possess at least one of the following educational credentials:
You must have finished a university-level study program, either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
You must have finished a vocational training program at the upper secondary school level that lasted at least three years. Examples are training for nurses, plumbers, and other professionals.
You must have some years of professional work experience.
Your job must have the required pay and working conditions.
